Want to get involved and have fun learning, loving, and serving?
You are invited to come take part in any of the activities listed on this page. The schedules are typical but sometimes must change, so we encourage you to contact the church office to verify that the group is currently meeting. There are other activities and opportunities that are not listed, but these are the most regular. We hope that you will come join us as we help one another enjoy life, following Jesus.
Fish Club is our Wednesday night ministry for children, 4 years old-5th grade. It runs from 5:15-7:15 and includes music, dinner, Bible time, recreation, and crafts! The Fish Club ministry is partnered with our Sunday School ministry to reinforce the stories and ethics taught on Sunday mornings. Fish Club does not meet June - August. UMYF (United Methodist Youth Fellowship) is our ministry for students in 6th-12th grades. We meet on Sunday nights from 5:30-7, during the school year. It's a time specifically dedicated to our youth and allows them the time and space to grow where they are. Our Sunday nights together include dinner. Throughout the year we offer different study groups. Be on the lookout for these in the bulletin and on social media. Come join us one night to find out more, we would love to meet you! Monday Morning Share Group
We meet in the Cordie Page building for devotions, a time of mutual support, and prayer.
Mahjong Monday
We play Mahjong in the Fellowship Hall from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM. New players are always welcome, even if you don't know how to play. We will teach you. It is a lot of fun!
Tuesdays at Trinity
We gather at 9:00 a.m. for individual prayer time and reflection in the Sanctuary and sharing of prayer requests. At 9:30 we continue in a time of casual conversation in the Fellowship Hall, with light refreshments. The purpose is to connect with God and with one another. Come and bring a friend or neighbor! Join us for one or both each week.
Wednesday Night Fellowship
We gather at 5:45 PM for dinner and fellowship. At 6:30 PM we begin Walking the Way, a A 30-minute conversation around Scripture for everyday discipleship. This is a great experience of good food, learning, and getting to know one another.
United Methodist Men
The men of Trinity meet for dinner and devotion on the Third Monday of the month, September thru May. They meet in the Cordie Page Building at 6:30 PM. Come and bring someone with you.
United Methodist Women
The United Methodist Women are a vibrant community dedicated to growing in faith, deepening spiritual life, and serving others. Through meaningful fellowship, shared fun, and local mission projects, our members work together to put God's love into action-- building lasting friendships and making a real difference in the community. The Sunshine Circle meets on the 2nd Sunday, after worship, in the Cordie Page Building for lunch. The Betty Goldfinch Circle meets on the 1st Monday at 5:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall with light finger foods.
The Ladies Bible Study meets Tuesday mornings at 10:00 am, and provides a safe space for meaningful conversation and heartfelt laughter! Contact the church office for more information on what is being studied. Come join us in the Cordie Page building!
The We Care Ministry is our prayer and comfort ministry for those facing strife in life. It is a vital part of our congregations life. The We Care Ministry teams serves in two primary ways: providing food and prayer for a family who has an ill member or who has recently experienced a loss and coming together as a group to care for the greater community around us. We do this by praying weekly for everyone on the church prayer list and contacting a family member of those on the list at least once a month to check in and better know how to pray for those in need.
Other service groups we work with:
Salkehatchie Summer Service is a program offered by the United Methodist Church of South Carolina. It is a series of week-long camps where youth and adults ages 14 and up work together on teams to repair the homes of those who are either financially or physically unable to do the repairs themselves. Registration for camp typically begins at the first of the year. Trinity attends the Lake Murray camp, which is held the second week of July. For more information, click on the logo.
We host Epworth, providing support and office space for the PeeDee Outpost. This includes Kinship Care and Family Resource Connect. We offer space for the Kinship Care support group. Kinship Care supports families who have to step in to take custody of related children. Family Resource Connect keeps families together by walking with them and resourcing them. The YMCA of Coastal Carolina uses our facilities for their summer programs.
We support Help 4 Kids/Backpack Buddies. Their missions is: "Making a difference, one child at a time.
Our mission is to provide food for hungry children of Horry County who through no fault of their own do not have enough to eat on a daily basis." Their motto is “HUNGER doesn’t take the weekend off, neither does our 100% volunteer staff.” For more information, click on the logo.
For the Grand Strand Down Syndrome Society, we provide meeting space and other support whose mission is “to empower people with Down syndrome and their families through support, information, and community connection. We celebrate the potential in every individual and promote acceptance and inclusion in our community and beyond.” They work to support individuals and families through social and educational opportunities.

Churches Assisting People is a client choice wellness pantry. They "partner with Lowcountry Food Bank to distribute USDA/TEFAP approved foods." They provide household and hygiene products when available. Several people from Trinity participate in this ministry. For more information, click on the logo.
The Shepherd's Table provides nutritious hot meals twice daily, operates a food pantry, and refers individuals to other agencies that may be able to provide additional resources to meet needs. They annually provide over 30,000 hot meals and food to prepare at home and connection with local resources for thousands of our neighbors. We are pleased to assist this ministry by cooking and serving a meal on the 2nd Wednesday of each month.
We have people who are active in several other organizations such as Fostering Hope, Abigail's Place, and Friendship Clinic.
