Youth & Children

Sunday Evenings from 5:15 PM to 7:00 PM during the School Year

Trinity has an active youth group for teens in grades 6-12 that meets regularly during the school year on Sunday Evenings from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM in the Cordie Page Building at 198 Long Avenue.  Youth are also actively involved in mission activities such as Salkehatchie Summer Service, various fundraising events, and spreading Christmas cheer to local nursing homes.  The youth and their leaders participate in Bible study, a variety of trips and other social activities to bring them closer to each other and closer to Christ in a safe, fun environment.  For more information, contact Sydney Newman, Director of Youth Ministry, at 803-280-4871 or  You may also reach Sydney at the church office at 843-248-2194.

Fish Club

Wednesday evenings from 5:30 PM to 6:45 PM in the Fall and Spring

In addition to weekly Sunday School, Trinity offers many opportunities for young children to stay immersed in faith and fun activities.  On Wednesday evenings from 5:15 PM to 7:00 PM in the Fall and Spring, children ages 4-11 are invited to attend "Fish Club" which includes our "Minnows" (ages 4-5), our "Little Fish (grades 1-2), and "Big Fish" (grades 3-5.  The "Fish Club" musical rehearsals culminate in a musical performance during the Advent/ Christmas and Lent/Easter seasons.  Crafts, Bible storytelling, dining and singing are all parts of this fast-paced,  fun evening for children.

VBS - Vacation Bible School

In the summer, Trinity offers a week-long Vacation Bible School for children ages 4-10.  Children are engaged in Bible storytelling, arts and crafts, music, games, science discovery and dramatic activities.  For our 2019 VBS, we have teamed up with First UMC of Conway to hold this event at their church.  Mark your calendars for June 23-26, 5:30-7:30 PM.  The theme this year is "Roar! Life is wild!  God is good!"  See the church calendar section of our website for the times and dates for future VBS events.

Moments with the Children

"Moments with the Children" is a regular feature of our 11;00 AM worship service.  Children are engaged in an age-appropriate mini-lesson linked to the adult worship scripture for the day. It is a fun moment for our children and our congregation as the little ones learn about their faith and leave with a chocolate candy kiss.

Children's Church

Children's Church follows the "Moments with Children"   Children ages 3-2nd grade are invited to follow a volunteer adult leader to a children's classroom (the last room in the modular unit at Conway Christian School) to learn about worship.  The children enjoy a Bible story, craft activity, and snack as they prepare for worship one day in "Big Church".  l
